Dirtwheels April 2001 issue, has an article on the new Prairie 650. "this will blow all competitors' away. It really is no comparision" I can't wait, who else is interested?

As much as I enjoy being a Kawasaki owner, I cannot see the need for such a large ATV. Still, I am sure there are those who can benefit from such power and torque in getting their work done.

Has anyone seen a picture of the 650 in green or know where I can see one? I never liked red on an atv so it looks ugly to me but if I seen it in green I'm sure I would change my mind.

I have accumulated everything on the 650 available. I havent seen any pictures in green. The release date for our area is March, April.

I have seen it in green. There was a guy in the highlifter chat room who said he had ridden it and gave us a website. It had 5 or 6 pics of a green 650 (kinda pewter-gold colored racks and wheels, looked good) on a stand beside a Dodge Ram with a nice enclosed Kawasaki Team trailer. I am sorry I didn't bookmark the website, because I have to admit it looked better than the red ones, and I actually have a red Rubicon that I like very much.

I was thinking about the new Kawi too, however, dealer support in my area stinks.I never like being second in my 4x4 riding group and a fellow rider is talking about buying the new Kawi.Im prepared for him.I just added some mods to my Xplorer and should be able to take him.The mods were less expensive than buying the new Kawi anyways,

Here’s the website for the green Kawi. I’ve only seen pictures of it, but I prefer the green one more than the red. I might change my mind when I actually see them. I have money down for the first one at my dealer. He said he ordered 2 red’s and 1 green one, and last he heard was mid-March for delivery. I wouldn’t bet money on it, but I hope it’s true.

I have checked with two different dealer ships up here in the north west & neither one has any info on the release date. I think that March-April release date is "optomistic". I hope that I am wrong.
