Have (2) 220s both with same problem - will not start using the starter switch. Both start fine using pull start and both start fine when I jump the solenoid.

I've troubleshot as much as I can - does anyone have any suggestions?

If they start fine with electric start when the solonoid is bypassed check two things.

1 When you press the starter switch do you see 12v at the switching post of the solonoid? If not investigate the ignition wiring.

2 If you're getting that, but no start, and if you put a screwdriver on top of the solonoid (across the two posts) it starts then you have a dud solonoid.
