depending on where/what you are going to ride, you may reconsider bighorns...there are some threads in this forum that talk about issues with bighorns

I've been reasearching tires on here for a few months now, trying to decide what to get for myself. So far, this is what I've gathered.

Bighorns - Last forever, Ok for mud, but great on dirt, rocks and snow.

Bighorn 2.0 - Lighter, but less tread depth and reduced durability.

Terracross - Excellent all around tire with a great ride, very soft rubber compound which takes away from the durability

Terracross XD, Extra Ply and harder rubber compound makes it more durable than originals, excellent all around tire with a great ride.

Mud Lite XTR - Excellent mud tire, and very good all around.

These three seem to be the most popular, unless you are a hard core into mudding. I personly have decided on the TerraCross XDs, but I ride mainly on very rough terrain with little mud.

Hope this helps

+1 for above.
They give a really good ride/traction. The only thing I wish better is that (maybe it's my luck but) it has better resistance aginst the puncture when hitting sharp edged rocks on the soft spot between the knobbies. If you don't ride on super rocky terrain, they would be the perfect tire choice for any Burte Forces.

See the wide "soft spot" right above the V pattern treads?
