Question 2008 brute force 750i efi question??

hi i have a 2008 brute froce 750i efi and i find that the bike's front shocks keep botoming out on me all the time. i weigh 280lb now i have found a long travle kit for it that costs only 150$ frome roialdistrubiting and was wondering if any one els has tryed it? now i would like also 2 get moer ground clearance. so is this going 2 help me or shood i just get a 2 inch lift? now i have had problems with other micheens like honda 450 foremans with the axles going bad due to the lift kits befor so i was wondering if it was a bad idea to use one. i keep bodoming the frame out and the shocks out. pleas help me thanks

Before spending money on aftermarket parts I would try adjusting your shocks you can set them to where they are pretty stiff and they shouldnt bottom out check out a service manuel and give it a try it may save you some $$.

thanks i did try that i put them all as heard as thay can go and all it did was make the ride much roughfer but it still botomes out over mogles and larg bumps. its only the front shocks.
