Hey fellas been a while since i posted lol. Want some opinions here, went with buddy to carry his 07 750 to a semi-local dealership for repairs and noticed a red 750 brute that had been there a while. Long story short, it is a '09 FI 750 that was just a demo model-53miles. I was like man bet they have a good price on that, 6500 to be exact. Nearly 3k off the sticker...so it started aggin at me lol. My '06 650i is in super great shape, worth every penny of 3.5k-4k on trade in. Thinkn of going saturday and trading it in on the 09 Fuel injected 750. I would basically be getting a new machine for about 1.5k to 2.5k$ A couple questions. 1. Is the FI 750 IN FACT faster in a standing start drag than the 650i. Some people try to argue, but hands down my 06 650i is faster than 06-07' ish 750s. UNLESS raced in high-torque areas...sand etc. I promise, my best friend has the 07 750 previously mentioned up there, and i would win even on rolling start races.(Yes this is important to me lol.) I would feel kind of dumb going up in size and down in quickness. I read that fuel injection helped the 750s a ton in throttle response and how quick they are. 2. My 06 650i is WELL maintained, is this a fair trade of value in respect to both sides? I appreciate any responses, this is tuesday night, going up there saturday morning, kind of looking forward to acquiring the FI 09 750 even though '11s getting ready to roll out.......gonna wait a couple years for a new big bore brute Please respond and thanks in advance.
