Default 99 Kawasaki Bayou 220 hoses to rear wheel?

I just bought a 99 Bayou 220 for $200 and needless to say, everything is not in order. There are 2 rubber hoses attached to the right rear inside brake backing plate and going nowhere. They will go all way to the handlebars but I have no idea where they go or what they do. I looked in my manual and can;t find them. Can anyone help? Thanks, Billy

Default Hoses

I think they are some kind of breather hose that may connect to the air box or something. I'll let you know also, Billy

There,s only 4 things that need venting hoses on a ATV . The Diffs, the gas tank, crankcase, and tranny if its a separtate stand alone unit from the crankcase. Never heard of vent lines for drum brakes, but you never know.

They both are vent hoses,1 for the differential, and one for they brakes, remove seat there is a bracket bolted to back of the fuel tank, the go around it like a horseshoe with the ends point towards the carb and engine, they need to be mounted high so water cannot enter them when you go through deep puddles.hope this helps.
