Hi my name is mike new to this site. I have a 250 Mojave and now the head is ticking. When i rev it up it gets worse and its not the timing chain i played around with the tensor. the bike is a few years old now i think its a 91 and i'm not easy on it. as far as i know its never been rebuilt

 

Sounds like valves might be too tight? No real easy way to explain how to check them, but that is probably what needs done...

 

yupp im thinking the valves need ajusted
