Default Bushing Removal and Replacement HELP!

I destroyed my right rear upper a-arm and knuckle on my 05 BF 750 and now have the new ones and am ready to put them on. I need to reuse the sleeves and bushings from my old a-arm, knuckle and need to know how to get them out and re-install them on my new parts, if this is possible. Thanks.

I had to do the same thing on the swingarm of a Kodiak 400. I ended up cutting the swing arm in a couple pieces to get the bushings out (it was already junk). Take the bushings and put them in a freezer for a couple hours. This will shrink them and make installation much easier. Then put some lube on them and press them in with a bench vise or a hydraulic press if you have one. I spent about an hour putting my first bushing in. I then decided to try putting the second in the freezer for a couple hours. Went back out and it slide in within a minute.

Thanks Mud Slinger. I pounded one of the a-arm bushings out easily enough, but was unable to get it into the new a-arm. I squeezed it probably 95% of the way in before i just couldn't turn the vise anymore, even with a cheater bar slid over the handle. I did lubricate it, but I applied the grease to the inside of the a-arm, not on the bushing. I think the bushing just pushed it all out ahead of it as I pushed it through. I will try applying it to the bushing and the freezer trick on my next attempt.
