Default new '09 Prairie 360 smoking

I just bought a new '09 prairie, i got it home and started driving it around some, and it started to smoke a little. FYI i was takin it easy because of the break in period. The smoke is white, and it looks like its coming from under the seat somewhere. I thought maybe there could be somethin on the exhaust pipe burning off because its new. If it dont stop i'm gonna take it back to the dealer. Have any of yall experienced this? Tell me what ya think.

Could be just steam from moisture - this time of year with the temperature change its common on alot of things.......my motorcycles and ATV do this.

If its still warm where your at then it could be a number of things.

Id take the seat off next time its "smoking" and give it a look see. Could be anything - perhaps they changed the oil before you took it and there spilled some and its burning off.

Check inside the air box for oil . Let it idle with seat off and see where its coming from. Like you said could just be the new muffler paint burning off. My friend has a 2003 Prairie 360,pretty trouble free ATV for him over the years.

Default 09 Prairie

I bought a new 09 Prairie in April. So far it's been a very good ATV. I also have an 05, also a very good ATV.

In general, as long as it's under warranty I would not start getting too involved with the troubleshooting. Taking the seat off and inspecting the air box is fine, since that is part of regular maintenance.
