Carb. Heater
#1
Ok it was the coldest weekend so far (40 degrees sat morn) and I had to use my '06 prairie 360 to pull a deer out of the woods. It started fine but took a long time to stay running with the choke off. After the engine was very warm it was fine.
Dug out manual and started checking things out, air temp. sensor, carb heater, etc.. Found out my carb heater is not working.
My problem is I am not having any luck locating one. Does anybody know where to start looking? I am still searching but a little extra help would be appreciated.
Thanks
*edited to add**** It is a Kehin CVK-34 carburetor

You may just need a carb cleaning or tunning. I just pull choke let run for 20 seconds and push choke back in and it idles on its own and that in the dead of winter at 20 below zero, same goes with my snowmobiles which also have carbs.
Maybe change your oil to a winter grade like 0W or 5W.

I did change the oil recently to a "winter" grade, and the carb was rebuilt and cleaned just 3 weeks ago. It has been running fine till saturday morning. In the afternoon when it is warmer it does just fine, thats why I'm thinkin I need to replace heater with one that works...
