Looking at buying a new quad and I have narrowed it down to two choices, the Yamaha 700 Grizzly or the Kawasaki Brute Force 750.

Please tell me why you think I should buy the Kawasaki instead of the Yamaha...

 

According to this 2011 Yamaha Grizzly 700 FI Auto. 4x4 ATVs there $50 less and have more power and the 750 is a Twin cylinder vs a single if that matters to you. There is some reason right there.

Well-
If you like bottom end grunt then buy the BF-

If you want a reliable atv buy the grizz.

I've owned 2 BF's and was impressed with the bottom end, but both were nothing but headaches and were always needing some kind of repair.
I personally hate how the BF locking diff can only be engaged by holding in a lever instead of simply pushing a button. Who want's to deal with a lever to lock a front diff when you're fighting through a mud pit or up a rocky trail
Also hate the BF seat- it's not the soft cushy seat you find on the Grizz, SP or outlander- it's stiff and firm. Also, I was constantly resetting the belt wear sensor (on both BF's) with the stupid pig-tail under the seat- it was always tripping even with a good belt. The ride is very firm as well, you'll feel every bump. The grizz takes bumps well and it's very comfortable but... I don't like how the Grizz feels so top heavy and lazy around corners.

If you truly want to be happy and want a HP monster- buy an Outlander!

 

I like the Grizzly front diff lock better than the Brute. The worst one has to be the Canam
Visco crap. I had a Outlander and it sucked in the rocks the front diff never locks up fast enough.

 

The redesigned 08 and up outlanders lock right up- I've owned 4 outlanders- and they all locked up nicely when I needed them to.

 

brutes all better atv all together. you can do a lot more to them, and a brute will out pull a grizzly any day. iv got a 06 650 str8 pathfinder kenda tires when i did this i out pulled a 660 grizzly in high gear 4wd on dry dirt and he had sum mud light tires. they suck ***

 

Well, I bought a Brute Force 750 and all I can say is "wow" that thing is fast. I like it...

 

I think you would of been happy either way, it was really a win win choice. Happy trails.

 

I don't think the BF is as top heavy as the Grizz either

If you want a reliable ATV don't buy either one.
