well- it looks like kawi is finally putting some much needed R&D in to their brutes! The cvt on the 05+ models was a horrible design, with that stupid toggle hanging down in the cvt housing and always having to reset the ecm with the jumper under the seat! Nice to see they finally put a small storage box with a lid on the rear rack instead of those silly "map" pockets on the front fenders Hopefully the newely angled shocks will give a better ride in the trails- I still think the honda rincon has the best angle on their shocks for trail riding.
Also looks like the brute finally switched from that stiff hard seat to a plush soft one like polaris, can-am, yami and honda has been using for some time now- Rider comfort with the older brutes was lacking big time.

I'd love to see a stream-lined BF- like an "x" package with better shocks and less bulky fenders... I really think they could be a close competitor with can-am's outlander if they focus on that. They really need to ditch that annoying front diff lock lever- it's a pita while trying to navigate through a nasty hole! I either want my front diff locked up- or I don't! The variable front locking lever is just counter productive in a hole.

The best thing about my 2 brutes was the bottom end power / pull- when they were running right- almost matches the can-am bottom end feel.... almost
