i just aquired a parts engine for our brutes, upon tear down i found a set of monster looking piston, that were man by weisco, after calling weisco tech i learned they were made for 4 stroke tech, but thats all i could find out from them the part #stamped on the dome is10264 m08500, i would like to find out the compresion an application they were designed for, the person i got this motor from run only preminum fuel in it ,my understanding is 12 to 1 an over needs to be put on race fuel or at least a good mixture, there are no signs of damage in the top end , were these designed to run on pump gas. any info will be helpfull, the cams were fst stage 2, i have not gone into the bottom end yet, will later on this week

 

Why don't you give four stroke tech a call and give them the numbers and see what they say?
Yes 12 to 1 is knocking on the door of race gas or a mix depending on a lot of things.

 

they only answer the phone between 2pm an 6pm,an the web site is going through some changes so you can not get info there, an when i tried to email it would not go through either, just hopeing some here my have installed this set up in the past ,an could throw some light on the subject, i really do not believe this set up was intened to go in a brute force

 

just got off the phone with 4 stroke tech the piston turned out to be as they said true 11.5 to 1, an will work fine on pump gas,
