Default 2003 Prairie 650 Tranny prob??

Here's the deal, I got stuck in the mud in low gear, I overrevved it and then the tranny started making a clanking sound, low gear does not work, high gear I have np with but it spits it out of gear...(if that makes any sense) revers is fine. Im afraid it might be my tranny, has this happened to anyone else, and what did you do to fix it?

Your log gear dog (cup looking thing in the pic below) is broken and it can't engage anymore when you revved up too high in the mud. That's why your quad can't move anymore in lo gear.

Also, you have worn out or rounded off hi gear dogs not having sharp corners. That's why it is jumping out of gear in hi gear.

Things like this happen on quads that was used, or should I say "abused", in mud all the time. You will need to split the cases and replace broken or worn out parts.
