i can start w/ the wire, but it runs for couple of seconds (it wasn't run for about 2 years so I will have to most likely clean out the carburetor)..however, electric start is only making a clicking sound in the solonoid (brand new)..the current runs all the way to the starter so do you think it's the starter that's at fault?..also the rely is over-heating..thanks

 

What's your battery voltage reading using a meter?
