2006 KFX 80 Quad Relay clicks when you hit starter, thats it?
Hi, When I hit the starter button on my kids 06 KFX 80 2 Stroke the relay near the battery just clicks, I can hear and feel it, after a while the starter may work, but then it may stop working after I let off the button or it may work.
Sometimes if I hook the 75 AMP start mode from the charger on to the battery itll work,
Is this a problem with the starter or the relay?
If it is the starter how do I change it? looks kinda tight any tricks?
Where can I get a pull start or a kick start for it? How do I install it?
Thanks guys the kids want to get to riding.

most generally, it is a battery voltage or connection issue. SO, check the battery's voltage. then check it while you're activating/engaging the starter button. what does the voltage go to? in the meanwhile, check all of the connections at the terminals, through the solenoid, down to the starter. make sure they're all tight. a lot of voltage is lost just from loose connections, even if they're finger tight, that's not that snug. cinch it up. that'll get you started if not fixed. i don't think your starter is bad unless it's really dragging it down. then just pull the starter and test it on the ground just like a car starter.

if the battery is not falling on its voltage and the starter is good, then the solenoid plates may not be pulling together. if you can't jump the posts on the solenoid, then it'd be bad. BUT, your starter should've done been tested to show good AND your battery should've already been tested to show good first before you rule that the solenoid is bad.

Ok, Update I took out the Mulit Meter and justed started touching stuff ( after i figured out i didn't know what I was doing I put it back in the package ) I then took apart the switch it looked good cleaned it up put it back together.
I then got a jumper wire, and I turned the Relay upside down and jumped two wires and popped the fuse, I then replaced fuse and jumped two diffierent wire and the quad turned right over no prob, so I am guessing this is the problem?
How many relays are on this quad?

If you look to the right of 27002 there are 2 plug ins. Problem is, I don't see the plug in things (that you may need) anywhere.
27002 is the reset button on the right rear frame under the seat.
Suzuki/Kawasaki sells a pull start which mounts in the clutch cover. About 100 bucks.
Stick 12 volts directly to the starter to check that.

Ok
I think this may be the correct one the other does only appear to have 2 Plugs and may be the rest switch.
