Default Piston - ROD & Cylinder

Ok so I had this 1986 bayou 300 2x4 siezed up on me bout 2 weeks ago I guess I ripped the oil plug off the bottom end and it drained all the oil and siezed up on me..

question is I have torn down the top end revealed that hte piston was siezed onto the rod had no movement at all - I got the piston off and the rod itself seems fine but should I be able to turn that rod now by hand?? what else could have been seized up??

trying to salvage what I can and rebuild
