Default bayou 220 high idle

I have a 97 bayou 220 runs great, starts right up. Here is the problem, after running for a while and engine warms up, when I put it into neutral it has a pretty high idle that I can't seem to find. I have took apart the carb cleaned everything, checked the hoses and cant seem to find out whats going on, any ideas? It only has high idle after warmed up and in neutral.

my 300 is the same thing - however when mine starts to idle it starts and then just goes crazy - idle right out at full pop until i shift that throws the bike or turn it off.. i found a small leak in the boot from carb to jug i bought a spray silicon and that has cured the issue... just ensure you have no air leaks but also adjust your idle so that it barly is idling and start turning from a very low setting... I found a sweet spot that worked well

yeah mine doesn't change when I turn wheels and it only does it when the engine has been ran a little while and is warm(you can feel heat coming from it on your legs) I checked timing and valves, everything is great I ordered a carb rebuild kit, all hoses look good but I will inspect again when I tear down the carb.

Have you messed with the idle screw at all?
