I wouldn't go any higher than youre ankles, thats unless you ride a wheelie through. I would venture to guess that from where you live and what you're riding to work you probably work at trailblazer. By the way, where do you ride? It would be cool to ride with someone and not take turns. I'm still working on my poor friends to buy quads.

If you ride in water alot BEWARE! I had to have the reverse cable replaced($75 for the cable assembly) and my shop guy told me that I had a tone of corrosion where the reverse arm is under the countershaft sprocket. It was from water and mud. MAKE SURE that were the cable goes inside the revers arm housing is water tight before you go 'swimming' on you MO. It was fun, but never again. I still owe too much on it! :-) Good luck!

i had a 88 mojave , for about 4 1/2 yrs

i would say up to almost the tops of ur front tires

for 1 it is a bit&h 2 shift underwater , usually i would put her in 2nd & just gun it thru water & hope 4 the best

of course who wants a stalled kic start atv stuck when ur kic pedel goes 1/2 way under when starting

4 the few times i took deep water like the depth i said , i stalled about 1/3 of the time & that happened when i was going thru NEW puddles , in a 2 low or 2 high gear anyway , then i'll try 2 shift & stal .

in water where u kno the depth , in 2 nd , u'll
do fine

i never had any mechanical problem from water

ride on ............................luv from pa

Mojave88, sorry this is gonna hurt. First of all I believe you don't have an atv anymore. Secondly, you probably didn't know about about any problems. I think it went like this, sprockets and chain so badly worn the front was wobbling. Upon installation of a new one it was so tight (as in new) the transmission blew out the side. Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance.

Savage , what did i do 2 deserve that !

my 88 MoJave was a " beater " , it had several owners . i luved it . it was my 1st . yes , rite now i am " quadless " . does that mean i cant do any net stuff w/ or about ATV's ? i admit i am no
" hi-tech " atv mechanic . but 4 ur info i did do my own maintainence . i re-built my carb , did the rad. flushes , oil changes , chain de+re greaseing ,& i re-painted her & brakes WERE gonna b next .

the same chain on it was there since day 1 when i got her .............. ?

if i am bit*h'n 2 much about her be'n gone , well 2 bad , in the 4 um's i write .

should i tell u that even tho i am quadless , i am in a local ATV club & i am helping plan our 1st ATV ralley & that i helped us have our ATV's in our last St. Patricks day parade here in my town .

we all luv ATVS , we ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL do

"whatever" ............................... =:~p
