I have an '85 bayou 185. Does anyone know the carb size or a throttle slide that would work on it? If I can't find a slide I'm gonna look at replacing the whole carb. Any info would be appreciated.

 

Well supposedly it uses a vm22ss carb. Anyone know the mm size of this carb? I'm fairly new to atv's and don't know the model sizings. I need a new slide and the oem part is discontinued or else I'm looking for something that will work in place of the stock carb. Thanks again.

 

Ok i found a vm22 but it's not the same style flange. The one on the wheeler is round that slides into a rubber flange on the motor. The one I found has an oval mounting flange built directly into it. Is there an adapter I can use or would I bolt it directly to the engine in place of the rubber flange? Any help appreciated, still looking for ideas. The info I found says it uses a 3.5 round slide and the carb is a vm22ss. So either need a new slide or carb to work in replacement of the stock one. Thanks.
