Default Prairie 300 4X4 problems

I got the ATV as a gift about 2 months ago. I was told it doesn't run, possible fuel leak, and good luck. So I found out the fuel was coming from the carburetor. So I did a full carb rebuild and replaced all fuel lines. I also did a oil change.

Once I was able to complete all tasks I filled it up with fuel, it started right up. It idles, then as soon as I put it in high or low and hit the throttle it cuts right off.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Will it rev freely without being in gear?

If it rev's freely, then I think it might be clutch related? Does it have belt drive CVT?

If CVT, then pull off clutch cover and see if belt is in good shape.

If the machine has a lot of use, like been thru multiple sets of tires, I'd suspect the primary clutch spring, ramps, weights.

The belt should also ride near the top of the secondary when stopped and the bottom of the primary when stopped.

Do you have any fluid in the floats? Did you check the float adjustment when you did your rebuild?
