bayou 220 running rough

i do have proper airbox, and have had it on, still do. but not proper filter, im aware that it has restrictions but i have to deal with exhaust restrictions too and the original one isnt in good condition

The oem foam type filter shouldn't be too expensive.
Regardless, I'll say always start with basics.
Compression, spark and fuel delivery.

ill have to find a way to test conpression, i have spark. and i should have fuel, ill try and hook up old muffler, and buy a oem filter. i dont think that will help but def worth a shot

so i had a few days off and it was warm, i hooked up orginal exhasut, ordered a stock filter, and got a compreesion tester, im reading 75 psi on it. manual for bayou 250 says 135 to 203 psi. thinking this is my problem? or does the bayou have that much less compression?

update, forgot to check with throttle open, at 125 with it open, and 175 if i put oil in it

well if anyone cares to help, filter got here today and still didnt make a difference. its got to be a carb problem

leak down tested ok, treated with sea foam, cleaned gas again, still no avail

Maybe try puting a little sea foam in the gas. Mine was runing bad and it cleared it up. ??
