Should I be able to see the gaskets in between the head cylinders when the heads are together? It looks like the guy who "replaced" the head gaskets didnt. Looks like he only put rtv in between the heads. I just need to know if the head gaskets should be visible between the heads like they would be on a car. Thanks

 

I'd say the rtv you see is for the valve covers, which is normal. Rtv probably wouldn't work long enough as a head gasket to ride it around the yard. You may be able to see the head gaskets if you look real hard.
