Default Carb techs questions??

I can't understand the jell/gummy carb problem ? I've gotton my son to use Sta-Bil, STP gas treatment and Sea Foam in a regular basis for quite a while since he has been riding at our deer camp. When he was riding Wilson Creek not too much then? This jell was soft jelly like how long would it take to be built up like this? Wouldnt when he/we started using Sta-Bil, STP gas treatment and Sea Foam had cleaned this up? May have a lil who knows? Only thing else I can think of his Brute had been sitting for about 30-45 days without running? Friend told me to start using Marine Sta-Bil.. Another question I have is what is the purpose of the coolant line running to the carb????? (Dad Question)

Got carbs cleaned up had to order the vacuum valves Part # 16126-1226. OUCH ..Lil over $200.00 shipped. I do not see how good it ran with the diaphram bad on both of them??

Find a real gas place. Seafoam cleans but wouldn't use it a lot. Realgas.com if I don't run it no matter what carb sht on me. Has no ethanol in it not really high.

The jelly is from the alkie in the gas. Usually takes 6 months to a year or more to do that though.

Well my gas tank was leaking from the petcock when it rain over night made same stuff. Should take longer but ride and weather holds a factor. If there's any moisture in your tank could be helping it along. Good luck

I hear that gas in the states they make out of corn (Ethanol) I think they call it, has a much shorter shelf life vs real gas made from dead dinosaurs.

Yea why I prefer real gas and it doesn't cost much. I have a jet kit coming so rebuild will be soon. You can type findrealgas on google and it will help. Most stores now are using 20% enthol and saying it may contain more than 10%. Atv killer really had to up the plug to a hotter one also.
