I have an older Bayou that I have been working on. It's been a chore. I am in the final phase(I thought) of getting it ride ready. Upon riding it, I encountered the next of many problems I have faced. The atv shifts through all gears as long as i'm on level ground. However, once i'm on the slightest incline, when shifting into 5th gear, it's as if it's in neutral. If anyone could weigh in, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

 

2wd or 4wd? Someone could have broke some gears or grinded some down. I have high and low and clutch slips and down shift. My moto4 is 2wd has a shifter for rev and first. It pops out sometimes.

But with hill and way you say it. Seems clutch is slipping. Lets hope its something else small.
