does the lakota pipe have a baffle if i take it out will it sound better. i saw a 400ex without a baffle sounds pretty good.

 

If i were you i would just buy a new pipe. Get a DG pipe. I don't know anything about baffles sorry can't help you. The pipe helps your performance pretty good. I have a 2001 lakota sport with a DG pipe on it. I raced a stock lakota (same year) and won. In the future I plan to get a jet kit for my quad. Good luck and ride hard!

if o get a pipe it will probley be a supertrapp IDS2 and i'm getting the racing series i wish that what brother of fmf would come out with one does the lakota pipe split any where or is it a full thing from the head back.

 

I'm pretty sure it split whith the header. I was wondering what year your lakota is. I have a '01 lakota and the front end doesn't look good. Do you have any ideah if a DG push bar from a mojave would fit on my lakota? They pretty much have the same front end.

I have a 2001 not really sure about the push bar i asked the same question and some people said it would and others said it won't.

 

Pretty much anything (bumpers,grab bars) that will fit a Mojave--will fit a Lakota. The only thing that is different on the frame is the motor mounts and the Mojo swing arm is 1" shorter.
