Default 2007 Prairie 360 4x4

Well it looks like I picked up another ATV this week. Couldn't pass on it, it has very low hours except it has sat for about 8 months. It starts but doesn't want to run. I pulled the carb today and while doing it there was so much debris such as twigs, leaves dirt....
Cleaned all jets and putting it back together and hope that it works...
The belt light is also on but haven't had time to check and found the how to reset the light.
Mostly cleaning it..it looks like they went mudding in it and never washed it...
But for what I picked it up for...amazing.
If you have any pros and cons about this bike, Sure would appreciate hearing about it.
I still have my trusty Chinese Sport ATV and this will make a nice addition.
Thanks in advanced.

This is a reset video for the 650/700 belt light, maybe the same system for the 360. Nyroc's ATV info website
Nice ATV, its one of the few smaller 4x4 ATVs with both "diff lock" and a "low range" options.
My 4x4 350 Grizzly does not have either option ,I wish it did.

Hey TLC thanks for the URL in resetting the belt light. Still cleaning it up...Today Im cleaning the airbox and couldn't figure out how to remove air filter, after 30 minutes I realized they kinda twist off.
The Guage on the fuel tank is busted but there is something rattling in there..I removed the petcock and cleaned the screen. I will probably try to start her this afternoon.
Thanks again TLC I picked up this quad for less than a standard playstation would cost.

hello all again, I got the carb back and she starts however it seems that it may require and adjustment for air/fuel. I noticed I don't see a mixture screw but there is a place with a plate. Would I be able to get to the mixture if I drill the plate out?
Thanks all.

Yes, there is an aluminum (or plastic?) cap/plug that you can drill out and adjust. First screw in CW all the way it bottoms out, then turn CCW about 2 1/4 and test run.

thanks Hayashi, I will give it a try tomorrow. The Quad has weird characteristics..The CARB wasn't that bad when I cleaned it. It starts great when cold with Choke..once it is warmed, I hear some popping at the carb..sometimes it will run with the choke on or off..but always good when cold. I have a feeling the valves may be the issue.
I read in a few forums that the exhaust valve tightens up on these..when warm is when I get the symptoms. I checked the belt and the switch wasn't flipped so probably the 100 hour service?
I will drill out the cover and adjust to see if I can make headway.
Thanks again.

The belt light comes on for reasons - Don't just reset.

If light is steady on, it's a 100-hr maintenance light. Check/adjust belt deflection and check for wear/tear.

If light is flashing, the belt switch might have been tripped. You can go only 5 mph at max. You need to reset the switch. Check/adjust belt deflection and check for wear/tear. THEN reset the igniter by following the procedure.
