Good things come to those who waiteth? If he worketh like Hell while he waiteth!!?? Well, I was planning on buying my first Quad this spring, but now I will have to wait a lot longer than most of you guys since I have been layed-off of my job! While the chances of me getting called back to work are slim to none. Since our shift went from 2 shifts down to 1 shift of a bit over 150 employees, down to around 40-45 now! It is happening all over the U.S. though, this year. Many companies are laying off. New Job time for me. So hopefully my day will come when I can say that I now have my first 4 Wheeler! Can't Wait! Best of Luck to All!!

Their evolutionary concept is outstanding. Their innovations are exemplary, but... their marketing/production coordination is a disaster.

Our dealer is quoting me $6500 + $200 setup for the Prairie ($6700). His usual charges are $6999 MSRP + $189 set up + $389 freight ($7577).

Of course this doesn't included taxes. This is a good deal. I would imagine that many of the dealers are going to want full MSRP.

my theroy is that Kawie expected it to be out in the dealerships by now. If they new about the problems there having now they wouldent have released it in November.

the reason that we haveent see the Sp700 yet is because there is no reason for it. the HO is the current 4x4 king. if polaris came out with the sp700 now, then it would be competiting with the HO for sales.

when Kawie does come out with the 650 then we will see the sp700 and other Big Bores from the othere manufactures. i have been told there will be a 650 traxter, a new griz with IRS, A new artic Cat.

the other manufactures are waiting for kawie to be the first in the market, then the rest will follow fast.

later

I can understand you guys running short of patience, but I just got to throw a leg over the first Rubicon in the Yukon only a few weeks ago. Haven't even had a ride on one yet. Kawasaki doesn't even have a dealer here, so I may never even see one if/when they do decide to sell them in Canada.
The good side is, I get all this great feedback about everyone else's experiences, so all the surprises and bugs are revealed before I can even think about rushing out to lay my money down.
Good things come to those who wait...
...and wait...
...and wait...

Hey, HamBone,
What event in Clearfield? I'm originally from Clearfield and that's where I do my riding. As far as the Grizzly, I have read in the latest issues of atv action and dirtwheels that Yamaha has started development of a V-twin quad also, but if they just started it don't expect it untill atleast the 2003 model unless they have been keeping a better secrect than they did with the Raptor.
