Depends how far you drive it??

Fuel tank capacity is online somewhere.
I've ridden my 400 Prairie full time 4x4 above 9000 ft on 4wd trails and was just about out at 80 miles.

They get more or less 20 mpg on trail rides.
My 3.8 gal tank 350 gets almost 75 miles.
My 5.25 gal tank 500 gets 90-95 miles.

I have owned many ATVs and rode with many ATVs and 17mpg to 20mpg seems to be the norm.
Compared to my Snowmobiles they are like sail boats on fuel.

I would not buy a ATV with fuel usage as a deciding factor.

Ok I can get 1 around here brand new for $5000 and then my gravy would be getting pretty thin so I would not what to be endlessly pouring expensive gas in it. Thanks

No small to mid bore ATV I know of is hard on gas. Even some Big Bores are decent on gas.

My 360 seems to do pretty good. I have to admit that I do not track fuel economy. Mine has no gauges to track with.

on my weekend trips and running around the property between 3 quads i only go through a $20 can of fuel every two weeks or so. Im running older 400, 300, and 110. so those newer ones should be better yet.. Once you get riding you really don't care about fuel costs

The best fuel gauge is your Trip meter. I fill the ATV and set the trip to zero and ride until its out of gas while carrying extra gas.
Once you find that number you can use the tip meter as a gas gauge. Much more accurate then a fuel gauge ,I find.
