Default 2015 kfx50

Just brought our new 2015 KFX50 and I can almost walk faster. I saw some older posts about replacing the CDI box. I read in my manual about the throttle screw and the speed limiter in the flywheel. I adjusted the screw with limited results. Does anyone know how to remove the speed limiter? The manual says the work should be performed by the manufacturer I don't want to void the warranty. Also is there an upgrade for the CDI?

Not sure on yours but on my 350 the throttle position adjustment screw with lock nut #8, #10 is on the throttle box by your thumb. Its just a screw that does not allow the throttle to open up passed a certain point for younger riders.

If it is anything like the Suzuki LTZ 50 they have "restricted" all the fun out of them. I had one needing the carb cleaning out and, with it up on blocks, convinced myself the carb wasn't right after cleaning. It turned out that the limiter comes in at a very low speed.
