Well, I done with my Chinese P.O.S and have moved on to a 2001 Bayou KLF 400 that I got from a salvage yard for 40 $$!!.
Does anyone know the differences between the model years? Can I use for example a carb form another year? Differences in engines? I have a line on a complete Ebay engine from a 1998..Can I?

 

I could be wrong but I don't think they changed much at all, however thought they had changed to the KVF400 by 01. Take a look at the on-line parts books for both model years, if the part numbers are the same you can swap them.

 

Sorry to waist your time but I goofed on the year of my machine.
It's a 93 not an 01, based on the 10th digit being a P, but my question remains the same.
Also, as for wheels ( I did not get any...none out the salvage yard), I think only CAN AM and Kawasaki use 4x137 bolt pattern, Am I correct?
