Hi guys, ive been trying to help my buddy out. He has a 93 bayou 300 that is in great shape however it doesnt want to run anymore. So I went over today to try and help figure out the bike.

Battery is flat so we hooked up one of those portable boosters to it.
Bike has gas in the tank, and gas valve ( valve is pointing upwards ).
Tried pulling it using pullchord and choke = no go.
Removed the spark plug,tried a different spark plug and poured some fuel in the cylinder.
Pulled over the bike again ( via pull chord ), Bike started up!!
Stayed runining for about 4 seconds then shut off.
Tried pulling bike over again several times, nothing.


So I believe she is getting spark, I don't know if she is getting fuel, because when i remove the plug it looks clean with no signs of fuel or foiling.

What should I do next in regards of troubleshooting? As well are these bikes known for certain issues that are related?

Check the fuel flow to the carb, and if that is OK, clean the carb out. Remove and blow the jets out with compressed air, and check you can see through them.
