new/used

I believe that a new quad will last alot longer than a used one, just cuz everybody has diffrent riding styles and methods, Ive had alot of problems with buying used machines, heck the worst machine I ever owned was a "like new" used one, it was like new cuz a 70yr old man had it and hardly rode it and never went fast on it, throw me on it and it was all over, 2 top-ends and other misc stuff within a month (blew it up 2 days after I bought it) luckly it was waranteed for 30days.. bought a 96 banshee for a pretty good deal, blew it up within the mile.. turned out to be not such a good deal.. if you do buy used at least try to find out as much about the machine as you can like previous owners/etc.. anyways just a little rambling and my opinion...

I have always felt that a good deal on a lightly used quad is far better than buying a new one. ATV's are often "toy" items for guys who later get a little tight on cash or who simply become bored with them. And just like they always say, the right deal comes along when you're not looking.
