Just now tried holding the slide down forceably when I gave it gas it revved up to full throttle but quits if I let slide go. Don't know if that means anything but figured I would share that

Default Slide held

Slide held in place takes full throttle. once letting go of slide it won't take throttle. Here's a video of it. https://youtu.be/PwKIR2eT0bU

Put the air box and filter back on and see how it does.If that doesn't help, the slide could be sticking or worn, spring weak or slide diaphragm damaged or isn't sealing properly.

Default Bayou 300

I have ordered the choke assembly. Plunger, plastic fitting, spring, and oring. Part # 16016-11. It should be here in a few days. I will let ya know if it takes care of the problem.

Default Let's figure this out!

I alteady thought about it and work that choke plunger removing the cable out of the plastic, install back the choke needle, spring and a bbgun copper pellet to totally block the air comming in and just to be safe added rv siliccone to the outside hole so totally comdened the choke and did not make any difference so I do not think that is the problem. Back home in Costa Rica I have a kawasaki lakota 300 that did the same with the choke and it work perfect. I feel getting to the end of this problem and did order a new vostor cdi box to give it try if it is not the case I will tear top end and stator apart.

Default Fixed

Ended up being the oring that's on the pilot screw. Replaced it and now works great.

Pilot screw, washer and o-ring are included in most kits. Was this new one faulty or was it not replaced originally when you went through the carb?
