Hi, the engine in my 03 bayou 250 locked up due to a bad oil pump and all the inner workings are shot. I was able to score a "running" 220 engine of an 92 bayou for only 90$. The problem now is that the charging systems are diferant. The 250 stator will bolt right on but the 250 flywheel sits to high to make a field with the pick up on the 220 engine. I can't raise the polypeptide or I will hit the stator cover when reasembling. could I use a later model 220 flywheel 99,200 etc ..to fix this or is the later model 220 flywheel the same as the 250. Let me know, any help is greatly appreciated.
