Default 3 wheeler qustion

Hello all am new here. Got a question y'all may be able to answer.
I just got a kowasaki ktl250a. It's in great shape. It has low compression I am thinking rings or a stuck valve.
My main question is, can you tell me if this is a 2 or 4 stroke engine?
I can't find any information online. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Think you got your numbers/letters wrong KLT250a is a four stroke, KXT250a is a reed valve two stroke with water cooling. The four stroke engine looks a lot like the 250cc four wheelers, air cooled, obvious big roundish plate on the side of the head covering the cam sprocket, and round covers on top for valve adjustment. The two stroke is water cooled, so no fins.

Thank you. It is a ktl250 I don't know much about them. I was told it was a 2 stroke but thought it was a 4.
It is in very nice condition and thought it was worth the $50 I paid for it.
