i thank i have all the important wires fixed.
Time to try and fire it up before i go any further.

BTW if you use a chinese quad ignition coil with wires attached the wires may be the same color but may be *** backwards to the Bayou.
EG.
Chinese coil green is ground and black is to cdi.
Bayou black is ground and green is to cdi.

Chinese electrics usually copy Hondas colour code, but the other big Quad makers all used their own codes, so you have to know which wire is doing what on Kawasaakis, Yamahas, Suzukis, etc. Glad you got the bike running anyway.

Now while waitin on the oil filter think ill look at the fuel gauge.
i know the original had a domed sight glass but is there enough clearance to replace it with a flat piece of glass? LOL * Victor will have pups before i spend $75 on a fuel gauge!

Got the fuel gauge off without breaking anything.


The underside of the cap


Marking the glass.


it dont look nice but it will work..


Made a gasket to help seal it.
