Kfx80 youth quad won’t start
#1
Bought a used 03 Kawasaki kfx80 for my kids. Machine has been running great for a week. Went out to start it last night and it won’t run. It cranks but won’t start. The temperature is quite a bit colder than it was a week ago, nearly 20-30 degrees colder. But I wouldn’t think that would make the machine not run. Any help would be great.

im new to these quads. I’m no mechanic but I’ve been known to fix things on cars. How can I spray it directly to the filter? Seems to be pretty difficult to get to the filter.

Yes! Do charge the battery.
You dont need to actually spray on the filter. Remove the seat and just spry in the filter box using the air intake holes.

Air box isn't under the seat if it is the same as the Suzuki LT80. There is an air pipe from airbox to belt cover, I just remove one end of that and squirt gas from a gas blowlamp down it into the airbox. Less dangerous to the engine than "easy start" fluids, and can't "wet the plug" either.
