I just purchased a Prairie 360 from a friend and knew it had a few issues such as needing to replace the LED Indicator which I have ordered but my big issue right now is the starter is hanging up and not starting. I hit the electric start and it will spin the starter and when I let off the button the starter changes pitch and just keeps going even when the ignition is turned off. I have to disconnect the battery to get it to stop. Anyone have any ideas on what the issue might be? TIA

 

Remove starter and clean, might have some crud build up in there. Inspect pinion gear for damaged or missing teeth, if there are then you might have to dig deeper but you might get luckey and find your problem
