broken bayou 400 camshaft still usable?

my broken bayou 400 camshaft
Broke my camshaft somehow not properly removing the chain. Sits in the grove and doesn't rub but dont know
how it would react at 3000 RPM plus. Any thoughts, really hard to find part Thanks for any your time and advice. Happy Riding

It is always a gamble. I frequently rebuild Honda air cooled engines that have seized. First one I did, I found the gudgeon (wrist) pin had seized and scored the con rod eye. I cleaned it up so the new pin would fit and with a new piston and rebore, "risked it". That engine had a hard life afterwards, but is still going 15 years later, as are the 30+ engines, which also had seized small ends, that I have done subsequently.
