2003 Lakota Sport 300 shock replacement?
#1
Bought a 2003 Lakota 300 yesterday, and it runs beautifully. A few minor issues, happily. The biggest issue is that the front shocks are stuck, and the machine rides HORRIBLY on any kind of terrain. I dropped tire pressure a little, just to make it slightly more rideable.
I can't find anything specific as to what shocks it takes. (Don't have a service manual yet) I looked on Ebay and Amazon, and found a few possibilities:
Has anyone bought shocks that they were happy with?
Is there any kind of rating for shocks, besides just the length?
How do I measure the shock length? Jack up the middle of the quad and measure the unloaded length?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
