I got a 2003 250 bayou and the reverse lever is binding up. It’s intermittent, sometimes it works fine other times you can’t hardly move it. Cable is not the problem. It moves freely. Anyone seen this problem before??

 

Just in case someone else runs into this, this is what fixed mine….
The 2 bolts located by the reverse shaft were loose and the rest of the bolts on the side cover were not very tight either. The side cover was actually shifting enough to cause the reverse shaft to bind. I loosened all the side cover bolts and pryed a little on the cover to move it a bit and it freed up. Tightened everything up and the problem is fixed! Hope this helps someone!!
