Tore my Seat! HELP!
#1
I know it sucks! I tore my seat on my 1994 Bayou 220 when I was heading through a familiar trail in the woods, when a branch hit my shoulder and richochetted to the left rear portion of my seat, causing a 4 inch tear in a forwards/backwards and a about a 2 inch one going side to side. For now, I have it covered with duct tape, but it doesnt make it look too great.
I am curious to know where I could purchase a new cover for the seat, either in the stock tealish color, or a gray. I have looked at Dennis Kirk, but they don't offer one in the color I want. Does anyone have any solutions/suggestions to remedy this?
My machine is so clean and new looking, but with the duct tape, it looks ghetto!

Another thing, where is the oil filter located on the 220? I've had this thing for 4 years now, and never realized that it had one? I could swear there wasnt one since it is a wet sump design, but I have seen filters for my Bayou 220 in the Dennis Kirk magazine, and also on the Kawi site!

The filter is behind a little round cover an the engine oil fill side. It has two 8 mm bolts holding it in place. If you replace your filter, and you really need to after 4 years, make sure the O-ring from the old filter is not left in there.
