Stebob- My wife just e-mailed you some pics of the track.

rear linkage? I have not flipped it yet. I have been thanking about it though. Raptorrrc does my research for me, i am waiting on his verdict. My pro-design air system, jet kit came in today. I did not realize i would have to modify the airbox, thought it would just bolt in. I will check thrusday about getting the jet kit installed friday or early next week.My yami dealer wants 150 to do it.I would rather the guy that worked on my Lakota do the work, but he has not seen a raptor. I guess i could do the reseach on carb settings for him. I do not want the carbs blowing off.

We have finished the track for know. We are going to ride on it for a few weeks and discuss any changes that need to be made then do it. At that point i am planning on putting a water system on it to keep the dust down. I have 4.5 miles of trails done. My neighbor down the road has a 50 acre dirt pit. He talked to raptorrrc about letting his kid ride at my house in return we ca ride in the pit. It is a pretty cool place. I could use one on his dozers to make some neat trails out of their way.

Stop by big "Aledo" going or coming. I will send you my phone numbers. We have plenty of quads around here to ride. I will shine the raptor up for you. Does your wife ride? Sue has the 220. She rides a couple times a week. I don't think she has ever had it in 5 gear.

1 more question Awhile back i saw a reply in another forum from you. It was about cars. Do you have a older hot rod? I have a 1987 buick GN. My wife drovew it for 5 years. It has not been out of the garage in the last 2.5. Not enough time.

14mins - I do have a older hot rod. It's a '79 Z28 350, th350, black w/o factory ground effects, american racing wheels. I am getting a race ready 700r4 when I come down. My brother is having it built for me. I have not been able to finish the car. I have all PST polygraphite in the front end, 1 1/4" front sway bar with a 1" rear sway bar. It'll corner. Most of my motor mods are sitting in my closet. The current motor is stock. I have a set of 1.94 ss valve heads with 171 runners, hooker headers, and edlebrock performer intake. I want to these parts on a fresh short block with pistons and cam of my choice. I have not yet gotten this far. Matter of fact I've recently thought about selling it. Too damn much money. The tranny and motor parts I have, luckily, I can put on just about any chevy small block. BTW-I love Grand Nationals. Phenominal power for a turbo v-6. I really wanted a t-type for my first car since I couldn't afford a GN, but I settled for a cougar. I know I know it's a Ford, but beautiful car, maroon with tinted windows and ground effects. Not of the wall looking, but very sharp. Wasn't the supercharged vesion though, too bad. Got 188k miles b4 my wife totalled it, even had original tranny.

Unfortunately, my wife does not ride. One of those that doesn't quite get the ATV obession. I only wish I had more time for my vacation. Oh well, one of these days when I get a good job, things like that and money will not be as big of a concern , hopefully. We will definitely stop by one way or the other. Not that it matters, but I was just wondering how old are you? I'm 27, 28 on 4/6/02. My wife is 26, 27 on 2/28/02, and my son is 6, will be 7 on 8/7/01.

Stebob-Sounds like a hot rod in the making, or a fast trip to bankruptcy court. A few years back my wife and i had a corvette and the GN. I wanted to start running the in the 1/8 mile. The repair bills from running them at the track added it up fast. Speed equals money. I am not much of a mechanic. That hobby did not last long.Sold the vette after i had rods and srcews put in my back. Just could not get in the vette anymore.

Did you get the pics i e-mailed. My wife tells me we are going to be gone Sunday the 29, and 1/2 day monday the 30th. Other than that i am always within 1/2 hour of the house. I am 38 years old, my wife is 41, and Harrison is 9. We call hime cubby. His has a yama badger 80.Does your kid ride?

Put the pro-design on today, the raptor will not run now, will have it jetted tomorow. Bob 50+,Chris 19, Rex 20. Come over quite often. I will call them when i here from you to see if they can make it over when you stop by.

Do you ever ride in the "bandlands" saw that in dirtwheels i think. Looks like a neat place.

Yeah, I'm not sure about the Camaro right now and I know how expensive they can get in a hurry. I have a picture of it in my mind and that picture is what keeps me hanging on to it. Oh well, phazes pass I guess.

Yes! I did get the pictures. SWEET! It looks really good and like a hell of a lot of fun. Looks like you have some land huh? Do you hunt? I really enjoy hunting deer up here. We can't use high power rifles up here though, so I use my autoloader 12ga. That Raptor sure is something else. I can't wait to see it all in person. I can't wait to hear how the pipe and jet help out. I know they made a big diff. on mine, I can only imagine on that. I keep hearing how the accerlation on that thing is just awesome.

Well, the only riding my son, his name is Christian, gets to do is with me and believe me he's hooked. We saw an Alpha Sports 50 together and he fell in love with it. It looks similar to a 400EX and he really likes my buddies. I really want to get one for him, but at this time I really can't afford it and we are saving up for a house. We live in an apartment now and it sucks, no place to keep/ride anything. I want something out in the country, but the down payments and overall price can be pretty steep. I currently keep the Lakota out at my buddies that owns the 400EX out in the country.

Yeah baby yeah we ride at the Badlands! We go there about every other weekend, well...I should say we TRY to go there everyother weekend....there are always those minor set backs though. It is an awesome place to ride, there are sand dunes, mud pits, hardpack trails, you name it is there in one place. Funny you ask that too. On my home from work tonight, I was thinking of you and about a video my buddy and I made out there just messin around. Though I would bring it (as long as my memory serves me well enough that is ) We arn't doing anything over exiting and it's only about 10min long, hopefully we'll get some more footage before we head down, but I thought you may get a kick out of it. I am coming up a dune with a wheelie on my buddies EX and stick it straight up in the air in the sane. Pretty funny, I still get teased for it, even though I've done that many times on his quad. Not quite the same to wheelie as the Lakota.

Man, it sounds like you are going to be away when we are going to be in your neck of the woods. If it doesn't work out then, there is always the trip back. If you have more pictures I would love to see them.

Stebob-rained today. I got the raptor jetted yesterday. Runs real strong top to bottom. I think that i will go back to the stock 13 tooth front sprocket. I made 2 passes in front of my house tonight. 1st run 72.8 and the second run 74.7. Before the mods it was usually 69-70. Chris and bob are coming over tommorow to ride. I know that chris and i will run a few times.

I saw a post of yours that said you jetted your Lakota. Did you drill the slide? The only carb knowledge i have is to adjust the idle.

We have about 150 acres, some hills, some flat, some trees.A small river runs down about 1 1/2 miles on one end of the property. This is the main area that we play. We are having a party on july 14th. Hopefully most of the raptor riders of north texas will show up. Posted that yesterday . So far 8 raptors, 1 400ex, 2 badgers,1 250r Would like 20 raptors. That would be cool.

Don't have much time to hunt. I do get to shoot my fair share of stray cats and dogs though. We have 6 to 8 deer around most of the time. A few foxes, turkeys. 5 small tanks. Sue and Harry like to fish. I am to hyper. I am going to put up a game fence this winter around 5 to 10 acres and buy 2 zebras, 2 antelopes, 2 ?.

I would like to see the video. Bob is going to take pics tommorow to post on the NTraptorriders. I will see if he will e-mail to you,or i will shoot some and have sue e-mail. I saw the lakota pics you sent. Guy did a lot of work.

What do you do to make ends meet? In the late 80's when the banks went under the government sold all the foreclosed properties for pennies on the dollar, we started buying rent property. We have 14 duplexes. We sold our quadplexes. I buy and sell property, build houses etc. I quess i am a slumlord. Sue works at home for a company in Califorinia, and denton tx.

14mins - Sounds like the Raptor is running good! Can't wait to see it. Your whole place sounds like heaven to me.

Saw your post about the Lakota, that's too bad. Sorry to hear it. What is he doing with it now?

I did drill the slide in the carb. The kit came with a drill bit and advised of everything to do.

As far as what I do, I have an assoc in electronics engineering from ITT. I worked as a senior tech for a tanning bed manufacturer/distributor. I currently work for Cingular Wireless, used to be Cellular One. I am working on getting into engineering but I have to remain in my current position for 1 year before I can change positions. I do customer service, financial, service and tech. supp.

Sorry long time no response. I haven't even been online. I've been either busy as he!! or dead tired the time I get home from work, 9:30pm. Granted I don't go in till 11:00, but my day just disappears. Nothing new going on. Been fishin' on my days off too. Laid into some nice large mouth for 2 days ago. Brought home 16 1/2" and 2 15"chers and 1 14ish" out of a private pond. The rest were under size, but good size none the less. Has to be 14" or longer here. Bought a new pole, so got to try it out! If you want, you can go ahead and send me your numbers so I'll have them when we leave.

How is the track?? What has been going on with you?

Stebob- I will get sue to e-mail you the numbers this weekend. Do you plan on stopping on your way to San Ang. or the way back? Chris and i are going to work on the track and trails most of the day Friday. Sat. is the 1st ever RAPTOR NATIONALS. 1st prize a warm can of beer. Will take some pics and send them in the e-mail. We have a small tank in the front yard for sue to fish in. Built it last year. The bass are 12 inches long now. Do your parents live on some acreage in San Ang.? I will give you the box scores on sunday. Have you ever ridden in dunes? I have a blast. Raptorrrc just bought a 36' aluminum trailer, garage in back living quarters in front. I will leave the driving to him now. I have a bad case of wanting a sportbike now, sue would probably go ballistic on me if i buy one now, since i traded her caddy in for a new dakota crewcab last week. Went to have her tires rotated and the wait was going to be 2 hours, so i just got her a new truck. She really wants a new vette, maybe next year i will trade my 1 ton in if the dakota works out for me. Looking foreward to meeting you. DID you ever get to ride the Cannondale???
