Stebob- don't be starting no crap on the yamaha board! It had not rained for a month till you brought it with you. I don't think it rained anywhere but my house. You must has pissed of the ATV GODs or something. Sunday morning was nice on the track. The yard is about done so the party can start. We are (rex, chris, bob, me) are planning on running the 1/8 mile drag sat. night. It is about 70 miles away. Rex said he was sorry he did not get to my house sooner so you could ride the banshee. He loaned his 400 ex out at the track in weatherford wens nite to a guy that was interested in buying it. I tould rex not to do it, and.... it got wrecked!! You need to buy that boat and move down this direction, next year- Sue and i want to go to the brickyard 400 next year so you need to stay till that is over. The people that i ride with like to go alot, so i am hopping that we make some roadtrips to ride quads all over the USA> How big is that ridding area by you. (badlands?)

14mins, Let me know how it goes at the 1/8 mile track. "Sunday morning was nice on the track", thanks for rubbin it in 14! Tell Rex it ain't his fault. Our paths will cross again. Tell him thanks for even considering allowing me to ride it. Hell, I bet it hasn't even rained since. That is really too bad about his 400ex. Mess it up pretty good? Hope the guy is paying for the repairs. Moving down your direction is a very good possibility. Just a little time that's all. It would be great to ride at the Badlands with ya'll. It's about 750 acres. Approx. 400 or so is dunes. Around the dunes are the wooded trails and mud pits. Get's pretty freakin busy sometimes. There is another place it Laurel, IN. It's about 1 1/2 - 2 hours away southeast. I have not yet been there. I hear it is pretty good too. Mostly wooded trails ans serious mud I hear. It is called Haspin Acres. I believe it is close to the same size as Badlands. Badlands has rules and I guess Haspin does not. People say Haspin has a mixture of off road 4x4's and quads sharing the same trails. Badlands does too, but it is no problem. They say you can camp and ride all night long at Haspin. Badlands closes at 6opm or 7:00pm pending on the time of year. Absolutely no alcohol at Badlands, they check your coolers. Haspin has all kinds of drunk bastards driving all times of the day in their 4x4's, quads too for that matter I've heard from more than 1 source.

Stebob- chris, rex, sue, harry, and me went to cedar creek raceway sat. nite, what a blast. There were about 500 people there. They had a bikini contest at midnight. Trashey women. Harry ran his badger. His best time in the 1/8 mile was 17.2 seconds.

My best time was 9.02 in the 1/8 with the bulk of the runs around 9.5 . I can not get off the line to save my butt. I never lost to chris and rex. Rex was smoking his tires off in the staging area. We all took some pics we will have to see if they come out. What a blast!!!! That track was a 100 miles from our house. We made one run in sue's crew cab against rex on his banshee- he won, chris video'ed from the passanger seat. the 235 hp dodge 11.2. Rex ran camaro's mustands and trucks, he won most i think. It is 3;30 am now. Headed to Galveston for 3 days tommorow to play on the beach. It rained here sat nite and the track will be perfect sunday. A lot of people are coming to ride and we will be gone. Did you get the boat? Fill me in ,going to bed , holler back at you wensday.

14, I bet the drags were just cool as hell. Yes, I did get the boat. 1st weekend I got it (when we got back) I sanded the hull to smooth it out some and get the yellow off of it. The boat is white and green. The bottom of the hull is mostly white and had a lot of yellow on it. I got all that off. The green on top and inside is very faded. After sanding it I sprayed some clear coat on it just to make it look a little better. It looks MUCH better now compared to when I brought it home. Last weekend my buddy and I took it to the water and the SOB wounldn't start and the motor wouldn't trim down. I called the guy I bought it from and he said if you trim the motor up too far it will stick, not to worry just remove the bleeder screws on the trim cylinders and it will come down. After getting it home I found I flooded it so it wouldn't start. Messed up thing is the frickin' thing worked fine at my buddies house b4 we took it to the water. I trimmed the motor up and down, no probs. It started just fine the weekend b4 too. I have not had a chance to work on it since. Tomorrow I'll be on it though. I'm off since I work Sat. Gotta get to work now. Dam I've just been too frickin busy to even get on line and see what's up. Talk to ya soon.

Stebob- I am usually here, i just type so slooow. Alot of times i just read. Have not done much the last week, back is really killing me. Going to the orthopedic surgeons office the 18th for x-rays, to see if i have a couple screws loose. Bob, chris, rex, and i are leaving Thrusday to ride at kermit. A few more will follow or meet us there. We plan on riding thrus. night, friday, sat, sunday and part of monday and head back home. I doubt that i last that long. We have not done anymore work on the track. Need to finish that project and my yard asap. I signed up to take HVAC at weatherford college starting 9/5 thru dec. The man that does all my a/c work is getting old. HVAC repair on our duplex's is one of our biggest maintance headaches, so i plan on doing 100% of the repair from here on out. I have been looking at new sportbikes, i hope the urge passes before i bring one home, to add to the toy collection.

I read about your boat working everwhere but the lake, that how most of my stuff always works. Did you go out this weekend on it? 6 years ago i lived on a lake, every night when i came home cubby was ready to go sailing. I used to tie him to the mast so he could not fall overboard. I bet Christian like it. What kind of quad is your dad getting him for x-mas? Are you coming back down x-mas.

Taking the airbox lid off the raptor really, really woke it up!!
Did you see the article on going up 1 tooth on the lakota for faster accel.

later

Hey Hey 14min. haven't been on for awhile. Busy working, messing with the boat, and visiting with Bobbie's grandfather from FL. The only frickin place the boat is stranded is on LAND at my buddy Chris's! It seems as though the hyd. pump is bad now. I have located one with the lower valve body for $527. That's more than I can/want to spend on it right now. Well, you remember I mentioned the motor wouldn't trim down. Well, I ended up having to completely remove the hydraulics from the boat. I disassembled the pump/valve body compeletly apart including all the little spings and valves. Cleaned it all up to where you could eat out of the inside of the SOB. It was nasty in there. There were clumps of sh--. I figured this was my prob. Everything looked good inside the pump valve bodies so I put it all back together. Got it back in the boat hit the down trim and bingo the motor trimmed down just as it should've. GREAT! or so I thought. It was late that night so I was done for the night and go back and bleed system out next day. Went out to bleed it and nothing would happen when I hit the trim switches but a click. Messed with wiring and got a slight spin out of it and that was it. PO'd at this time. I took the endcap of the pump motor off and cleaned the brushes and commutator. They too were just nasty and gunked up. I figured that was the prob. So, when putting the endcap on, this is where the brushes are attached and spring loaded of course. I had a hell of a time trying to compress the brushes to get it on the comm. Not more than a couple of secs later broke one of the brush wires. GREAT. Done for the day, went out next day fixed that got it together and the motor spun like a champ, in both directions. Wooohooo, almost got it licked. Bled out the system put the trim cylinders back on and now the frickin motor won't trim up. It's doing the exact same thing as b4, but now won't go up only down, the exact opposite prob. I had b4 I started. I figure one of the valve ***** inside the valve body is sticking in one of the jackets. I thought I could get a rebuild kit for it and be done. Naturally they don't make one for it. Have to replace the entire thing. I haven't decided what I'm going to do. I'm thinking of selling it and being done. At the same time though I do want the boat and I want to put a new pump in it. I need brakes on my truck and Christmas is coming up too. I just don't know right now.

I haven't even been on the Lakota, maybe once since we got back from TX.

How have you been? How's Sue and Harrison? Christian wanted to say hi to Harrison.

Sorry for not keepin up with ya, just been too damn busy. Sux! Talk to you soon bud!

We had a blast at the dunes in kermit. 200 miles of riding in 3 days.
