well this was back in october there was an atv jamboree here in nebraska. i entered my 650 in the auto class. with the exception of my buddies grizz and some sorry sap that paid to much for a rincon the rest where scramblers probly 20 of em 400 and 500. all i did to my 650 is pipe, jet, and a little more agresive cluch springs. well we raced at 100yards and every race i had the hole shot by a lot i was so far a head most didnt come close but a few did. my friends waching said if the other guy had another 10-15 yards he would have passed me but when you race its not top speed its who gets to the finish line first and that was me and my 650 every time

The Scrambler 500 2X4 weighs 523 lbs, while the P650 weighs 606 lbs. So the weight difference is around 83 lbs. The P650 also has a 133cc advantage on it though. I don't own either of these two quads but I would guess the P650 would win by a few lenghts. Whoever said a Scrambler 500 will beat a 300EX by a small margin is a lying sack of crap, a Scramler 500 would whip a 300EX.
