Hey is there anyone out there with pics of tecate 4's? Are they a good machine? Will they outruna 250R. Thanks

 

In the motor department they will outrun a 250r, Raptor and some Banshee's. In the handling dept., they lack that of a Raptor or 250r, but they are a VERY fast bike. Top speed is higher than any other quad except for the LT500 AKA Zilla. Tecate4 has a top speed of 75mph, and the DS650 and the Raptor are at 71mph, that will give you an idea of how fast they are.

 

Go to this site (not mine), you'll find many pictures of Tecate-4's. I own the green one (an '88) at the top of the page. They ARE fast, and with a little modification to the suspension pieces (such as extended swingarm and A-arms, which mine has) it handles as well as anything else. Plus, they're not nearly as twitchy steering as a 250R.

Yeah, that about sums it up. Plus they are the coolest looking quads in my humble opinion.

 

They are the second fastest ever produced quad and if you are a good enough rider they can do anything a 250R can do.
