Has anyone put larger tires on their 650? How large can you go before they rub the gas tank in the rear? Will the Titan 589 26x12x12 fit the rear and 26x9x12 fit on front?

you can go as big as you want like 28*12.5 but you will need spacers

This is an intresting subject to me because I've been wondering the same thing just how much tire can be put under a 650 without the use of spacers if 27 inch can be that would be enough. If someone should do it let me know .I'll keep in touch

I have Titan 589MTs 27" on my 650 Prairie. The 27" fit on the stock rims with no clearence problems with the gas tank. Here are some pics with the new tires. I hope this helps.

Slot,
Those are some great photo's. Glad to see those larger tires fit without spacers of aftermarket wheels. I noticed that a buddy of yours has a Grizz 660. What are the likes and dislikes of the two bikes? I just sold my Honda 450S and cannot decide which of those two bike I want to get. Are they close in acceleration? Does the ground clearance of the Grizz give it a huge advantage in the mud? Is the overall fun factor about the same? Thanks for your reply.
