We have an anully sled pull every year around here. All bike are weight in and if your quad is 50 pds lighter than the heaviest they put on a sandbag weighing 50 pds, that way everyone is equal.Last year there were no rubicon,650,660 or quest but every other bike was there .It's the same story every year either a sportsman or a xplorer wins it.4 wheels pulling is the trick.I know that the trackster pulls the 4 wheels and i'm NOT bashing the bike because i like them. When you have to chose a gear to start in,usally its to strong and rev's out and spins the wheels or in a higher gear it finished by bogging out.

I cant tell you about the new Kawaski if it were there or not, but there were a few new Yamaha 660 Griz jobs,
the fee was $10.00 each class, so no fighting, everyone happy when it was over, no yelling, crying (in public)everyone saw what everyone else was running etc.
No slam dunks or ringers
Alot of fun.

HOW MUCH WEIGHT DO YOU GUYS STRAP TO THE FRONT TO KEEP THE WHEELS DOWN. AND HOW DO YOU STRAP IT TO THE FRONT?

I am entering a pull in 7 days. Never even watched an avt pull. Had a few questions:
1. What technique can I use to win?
2. My atv supposedly can pull 1300 pounds, how much do I strap on the front so I can steer?
3. Should I air up the rear tires, if so how much?
4. Should I air up the fronts, if so how much?
5. How hard should I hit it off the line?
6. Do they strap the load to my hitch?
7. What else do I need to know to win this thing?

Thanks.
