I have a friend with a 01 Lakota and he wants to get some more top end speed out of his quad. We just put a 13 tooth sprocket on the front countershaft. Can we go up another tooth without sacraficing all the low end torque and will I have to get another link for the chain? Also what pipes are good for these quads? Any help would be greatly appreciated we know it will never be fast we just want to get everything out of it we can.
Thanks

I had a DG pipe, k&n filter, jet kit, web cam, stock gearing and it would do a honest 60 mph (GPS) on my lakota. I think that was the best bang for the money. I never checked the speed before the mods but i believe 52 mph. Still have no clue as to whether it has a rev limiter or not.
